The Tinted Balm
The Tinted Balm enhances lips with a sheer wash of color that builds with each application. It nourishes, plumps and renews for softer, smoother, healthier-looking lips. Formulated with a hydrating blend of plant-based butters and oils, including Shea butter, Vitamin E and Candelilla wax, and powered by Augustinus Bader’s TFC8® technology, each application moisturizes the lips and protects them from environmental stressors.

Sofia Coppola
Award-winning director Sofia Coppola’s eighth film is “Priscilla” based on the memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Beaulieu Presley. The film, starring Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi was released by A24 and Mubi.
Her films include “The Virgin Suicides” (1999), “Lost in Translation” (2003) for which she won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay, “Marie Antoinette” (2006), “Somewhere” (2010), “The Bling Ring” (2013), “The Beguiled” (2017) whereby she made history as only the second woman to win the Best Director prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and “On The Rocks” (2020).
In addition to her film career, Sofia directed a production of Verdi’s classic, “La Traviata” at the Rome Opera House, with fashion designer Valentino Garavani and production designer Nathan Crowley. In 2023, Mack Books released her book SOFIA COPPOLA ARCHIVE, currently in its fifth reprinting.

Each sheer, yet buildable shade of The Tinted Balm is suitable for all skin tones. Shade 1 is a sheer deep pink, Shade 2 is a bright, red coral, and Shade 3 is a burnt, earthy plum.

The Tinted Balm combines a blend of soothing plant-based butters and waxes to calm the skin, while protective Vitamin E keeps lips looking healthy. This cleanly-crafted formula is also formulated without irritants or allergens. However, if you have sensitive skin we recommend checking the ingredients carefully and consulting your doctor if you have any further concerns.
Nut oils are not included in the formula, however shea butter, derived from shea nuts, is present and there is a small possibility for cross contamination according to the raw material suppliers. If you have any concerns we recommend consulting with your doctor before use.
No, The Tinted Balm does not contain sun protection.
The Tinted Balm is 100% vegan and free of gluten, GMOs, parabens, fragrance, SLS, SLES, DEA, heavy metals, talc and petrolatum/paraffin/mineral oil. Like all Augustinus Bader products it is also cruelty-free.
