Can you send me samples?

Unfortunately we do not offer samples just yet although this is something we're hoping to do in the future, make sure you are signed up to our newsletter to be amongst the first to find out when these become available. How do I know which cream is right for me?

The key to both creams is our active ingredient TFC8, it helps the skin look and feel restored, regenerated and renewed.

Both creams are equally as effective however each formula has a different texture to serve different needs and personal preferences.

The Rich Cream has an intensely luxurious formulation for deep hydration and ultimate skin replenishment. With argan oil, avocado oil and evening primrose oil that provide deeply penetrating moisture, The Rich Cream brings back elasticity to the skin, helps to promote healthy skin that looks plumper, feels soothed and is more supple. We would recommend this formula for dryer skin types, it is also ideal for night time routines and offers the ultimate shield against dry climates.

On the other hand, The Cream has a fast-absorbing and weightless formulation that helps keep skin plumped with luminous hydration with soothing aloe vera. The Cream targets the signs of ageing and is perfect for normal, combination and oily skin types. Ideal for a daytime routine, The cream leaves your skin feeling refreshed and soothed especially in humid climates.

How to use as part of your skincare regimen

We recommend that you apply our cream on cleansed, toned, dry skin.

The Augustinus Bader creams are formulated to target a multitude of skin issues including, fine lines and wrinkles, dehydration, redness, loss of elasticity and pore size. And therefore, our creams can be used as an all-in-one product. For optimal results, our cream works best if our active ingredient TFC is the first point of contact with the skin. If another brand's products are applied underneath, the TFC would not work as effectively.

However, if you would prefer to use other products underneath our cream, please ensure they have full absorbed before you apply our cream.

How long will a 50ml bottle last me?

The rate of usage per bottle will vary based on how often you use the cream, whether you alternate it with other products and how much you apply per use. For best results, the recommended usage is two pumps twice a day every day, meaning the product should last you around 6 weeks.

Are Augustinus Bader products safe during pregnancy?

The Rich Cream and The Cream are classified as safe to use during pregnancy.

Please note that The Cream does contain Retinyl Palmitate, this ingredient is included at a level which is classed as safe for pregnant women, however it is up to you to decide if you would like to use The Cream when pregnant, post-pregnancy and/or while breastfeeding, as it is an ingredient that some women prefer to avoid during this time.

We would recommend consulting with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

Free-from skincare

Our products are developed making sure they do not use ingredients that are known to be bad for the skin such as parabens, fragrance, mineral oils, sulfates (SLS, SLES), DEA and harsh chemicals, meaning that they are all printed with our 'free from' logo.

Our creams provide sustainable and long-term benefits for skin health and wellbeing ensuring the skin looks smooth and radiant.

What about SPF?

Our creams do not contain SPF protection, we did not want anything to interfere with our technology.

Although your skin is protected we still recommend to use a separate SPF; our moisturiser should be applied first and once it has fully absorbed, apply the sunscreen as the final step in your skincare routine.

Treating medical conditions

Our user and clinical trials shows that an array of skin issues look improved after using our cream however please note that our skincare range is for cosmetic purposes only.

As we cannot provide advice for certain conditions due to their medical nature, in these cases, we recommend consulting your physician.

Are Augustinus Bader products tested on animals?

The Cream and The Rich Cream have never been tested on animals during product development.

Augustinus Bader Clinical Trial

During development, both our creams went through clinical and user trials. Please see the details below.

*A 28 day study of 52 participants over a 28 day period with self-assessment at 14 and 28 days in the USA.

** A 28 day anti-wrinkle study of 90 participants over a 28 day period with readings at 7, 14 and 28 days in the UK.

*** A 24 hour hydration study of 15 participants with readings at 1, 3, 8, 12 and 24 hours in the UK.

2. Payment

Payment methods/orders

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and all other major credit cards. We also accept Apple Pay.

You can also choose to pay with PayPal. When selecting this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to 'Log In' and review the amount shown before clicking 'Continue'. You will then be redirected to www.augustinusbader.com to complete the transaction.

The order total will only be charged after we have verified your card details, confirmed availability of the products and prepared the order for shipping.

You will be charged in the same currency as the prices displayed at checkout. The order total includes any shipping costs.

You will receive a payment receipt for orders placed on our website and an automated email confirmation.

The order will be confirmed only when we send a confirmation email to the email address indicated on the order form. The email will contain a confirmation and summary of the order, such as: product description and information as well as the total price of the order, including taxes if applicable.

Currencies

We accept United States Dollar (USD), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Chinese Yuan (CHY) and South Korean Won (KRW).

Declined payment

If your payment has been declined, please contact your bank to check the reasons.

If you have another means of payment, you can restart the order process.

Order payment date

You will be charged for your purchase directly after we have verified your payment details.

Tax and invoices

Our invoices will show the applicable VAT for shipment inside the EU.

Outside the EU, no VAT will be shown on the invoices.

Some local taxes might apply to you. Please check locally, as we will not be responsible for paying those local taxes and/or duties.

Payment security

All transactions on this website are processed using Shopify’s secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. We do not have direct access to your details.

Website security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begin with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode.

Creating an account

You can order goods from Augustinus Bader as a guest, but for an enhanced level of service, it's best to create an account. This means you can:

a) Checkout faster in the future as you’re able to save your frequent billing and shipping addresses.

b) Have access to your order history, track order status and easily request returns.

c) Sign up to our email newsletter to receive the latest launches, stories and product information directly in your inbox.

Personal information

We shall keep and use your personal information in order to proceed your orders and for marketing purposes only. Please read our Privacy Policy for more details.

Reset password

To reset your password enter log in screen via “Account” and choose “Forgot password?” then enter the email you originally signed up with.

We will send reset password instructions to that address.

Account removal

If you wish to permanently delete your account from our systems, please contact our Customer Service team

4. Loyalty Points

How can I redeem post-purchased points?

When you choose your payment method at checkout, your points will appear and you can opt to apply them (or not). Use them straight away or save up for something you have your eye on. It’s completely up to you.

Can I give my points to someone else or exchange for money?

Club points can only be redeemed against purchases on our website, AugustinusBader.com and unfortunately, club points are non-transferrable.

What happens if I return my order?

When we’ve received your return, the system will automatically adjust your club point balance. You can see your complete history on our website when logged in. Simply go to ‘My Account’ in the Loyalty Club Point section.

Can I earn or spend my points in store?

No, Club points are only redeemable on purchases made through Augustinusbader.com.

Do I get points from previous orders before The Club launched?

Unfortunately, no, but any purchase made now on our website will accrue club points.

Can I redeem my points without making a purchase?

Of course, as long as you have enough points to cover the entire cost of a product.

Can I update my email address?

You can change your email address in the ‘My Account’ section of augustinusbader.com. If you have purchased products on a different email address, then simply get in touch with customer service and we can combine the balance into one account.
