Allure: Victoria Beckham collaborates with Augustinus Bader

"In my humble opinion, the new Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer is just as amazing as I expected it to be"

"It's been just a few months since Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous beauty brand, but the former Spice Girl is already making major waves in the industry with her line of luxury makeup, which consists of creamy kohl eyeliners, nude lip liners for every skin tone, and glitter eye shadows.

As if that weren't enough, we now have even more reason to love the brand because she just added skin-care to the mix with an equally exciting twist: Victoria Beckham Beauty is launching its first-ever skin-care product, the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer, in collaboration with Augustinus Bader.

Equal parts illuminator and hydrator, the priming moisturizer features micro-pearls that are said to give skin an ultra-glowy, lit-from-within look while also being good for your skin, courtesy of Bader's proprietary technology. On Instagram, Beckham explains her goal: "I have been working on this for a long long time and it has been a dream to develop, with Augustinus, a priming moisturizer that works to improve the health of my skin and gives that fresh, natural glow that I love.

This collaboration seems very natural given that Beckham, along with a laundry list of models and celebrities (and our own editor in chief), is a big fan of Augustinus Bader (pronounced Bah-der). The famed German stem-cell and biomedical scientist launched his eponymous skin-care line in 2018, with three creams (two for the face and one recently launched body cream) infused with his proprietary TFC8 (Trigger Factor Complex-8) technology.

That same TFC8 technology, which Bader devotees claim to be the fountain of youth, harnessed in an unassuming (and pricey) little blue bottle, is also formulated in the new VBB primer. "TFC8 comprises natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins, and synthesized molecules naturally found in skin," explains cosmetic chemist Ginger King, who is unaffiliated with either brand. "It guides key nutrients and powerful natural ingredients to the skin cells, creating an optimal environment for the body's innate processes of repair and renewal."

In my humble opinion, the new Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer is just as amazing as I expected it to be, and I will continue to use it daily for the skin-care benefits alone. Bottom line: I love it.
