Why might I experience a white cast and how can I reduce it?

The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 uses physical UV filters, which work by sitting on top of the skin as a shield against UV rays. The light reflected off these filters is seen as white light, which can result in a slight visible white cast.

Tips for reducing the appearance of a white cast:
- Apply sunscreen in thin layers, allowing each to absorb before adding more.
- Warm the product between your fingers to help it spread more easily.
- Take time to gently massage the sunscreen into the skin until fully blended.

Is it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin?

Yes, The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and vegan formulated. It is free from common irritants, including parabens, sulfates (SLS & SLES), silicones, phthalates, DEA, heavy metals, talc, and petrolatum/paraffin/mineral oil. Our formula does not contain any nano classified UV filters, eliminating the concern of potential absorption by the body. It is also reef-safe.

Is it pregnancy and breast-feeding-safe?

When and how much should I apply?

The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 was designed for daily use and layers well over all our moisturizers. Apply a generous amount – about 2-3 pumps – to your face 15 minutes before sun exposure. No sunscreen lasts all day. We therefore recommend reapplying at least every 2 hours for continuous protection. The Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is not water-resistant so reapply immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
