What makes Augustinus Bader an important addition?

Dr. Alexander: In this social media world, our patients are bombarded by hundreds of different skin care products and magic formulas. As a physician and a director of a medical spa, it is my responsibility to discover and thoroughly research the products that are truly safe and effective. While I want to stay on top of or in front of the trends and the newest and greatest developments in plastic surgery and skincare, my mission is to focus on the health, beauty, and well-being of my patients.

Introducing Augustinus Bader to my patients has been a privilege. It was named the number one skin care product of all time for a reason - it really works. I get comments all day long when I see patients who have started on the Bader products about how great their skin looks and feels. The importance of this can not be understated. Why is Augustinus Bader different?

Dr. A: As a plastic surgeon, I was immediately drawn to the history of the Augustinus Bader skin care line. With my own background in science, I was intrigued by Dr. Bader’s research in wound healing and cell biology. As a surgeon, we create wounds, and we are always interested in expediting the healing process.

These products help us to realize our goal of helping our patients heal from the inside out as well as the outside in.  

What do you and your patients like most?

Dr. A: As a physician, it is important to understand the science behind the skin care products we recommend to patients. However, the most important consideration when we recommend a treatment protocol is the efficacy of the products and services. They need to deliver the results our patients are seeking. That is what we love about Augustinus Bader.  

The improvement we see in the skin is phenomenal. Of course, we love the texture, the lack of perfumes and chemicals and how the products replenish and hydrate the skin. Our goal is beautiful, healthy, glowing skin and these products help our patients obtain that outcome. 

What is your favorite Augustinus Bader product?

Dr. A: With the Augustinus Bader skincare line, it is very difficult for me to pinpoint one favorite product. They work synergistically together. Several of the products are different from any other line I have tried in the past 25 years in plastic surgery. The Cleansing Balm in the morning makes my skin feel so clean and fresh. The Essence at night has a tightening effect that is unlike any other product.

However, if I was forced to choose one product as my ‘favorite’, it would have to be The Cream. It has been a game-changer for my skin, creating a more youthful, rejuvenated, healthy glow and reversing some pesky sun-damage. In addition, of the hundreds of patients I have recommended this product to, they all have a similar reaction. I was at first skeptical of one product working for many different skin types. Now after recommending this product to patients with all different skin types, I have become a believer. The Cream is a magical product.
